The main advantages of forging processes versus other techniques are:
- Improvement of the metal mechanical properties: the metal deformation, under the effect of shocks or pressure, generates a large number of metallurgical phenomenon. Only the forge process guarantees the metal internal cohesion and improves its mechanical characteristics due to orientation of the material fibers. This enhances the strength of the component.
- Gain of material and machining time: by reducing weights and volumes, the forge process optimizes the parts size and associated mechanical performances.
